Luca Fiorini
Club President  2024 –

Jayden Sciarrone
Vice President  2024 –

Jayden Sciarrone, a current Bachelor of Law (Honours) student at Monash University, combines academic prowess with extensive professional experience. Serving as the Operations, Administration, and Recruitment Manager at East Kew Soccer Club since August 2021 and is now in his current capacity as Vice President. Jayden showcases strong leadership. In his professional life, Jayden is currently a Paralegal at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, focusing on case planning, legal research, and client communication. The experience in the legal field permits versatility and demonstrates adaptability in navigating complex legal scenarios. Jayden’s impactful contributions to East Kew Soccer Club and his roles at Slater and Gordon Lawyers underscore his leadership, organizational, and legal acumen. The ability to thrive in both sports and legal domains highlights his versatility and dedication to making meaningful contributions across diverse professional settings.

Giulio De Leonardis
Operations & Marketing 2024 –
Moving to the club in 2023, Giulio has recently become one of the new members of the committee. His love for football, the club and seeing younger members being given the opportunity to enjoy their football has seen him want to take on more responsibility and move into a broader role for the 2024 season. Giulio’s very passionate about the Club and has a great eye for Media. Giulio was the Social Media Manager in 2023, seeing the club’s Social Media sites reach great numbers.

Nick Cimimo
Treasurer 2024 –

A seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience across various senior accounting and finance roles across some of Australia’s well-known companies. Is passionate about giving back to the community across executive roles at NFP organizations. Is currently an executive and treasurer at Manningham United FC. Brings along his vast financial experience to contribute to the team at EKFC.

Mike Cockburn
Secretary 2024 –

Michael is a passionate and dedicated football fan, board member of aligned club Manningham United Blues FC and Director of the MUBFC Female Football Program. He is actively involved in grass roots football and its growth. Michael actively drives the growth and development of the game in the eastern suburbs. He has strong relationships with local, state and federal members and works hard to bring crowds back into community football.

Nick Raptopoulos
Committee 2024 –

Nick Raptopoulos is a Melbourne businessman who works for one of Australia’s leading steel suppliers – Ausreo. Whilst Nick has spent most of his time in Sales managerial dominated roles, he has a degree in Management and Marketing. Nick is a passionate sports lover and AFL / soccer tragic (having run for the Essendon FC board previously), he has been actively involved with our sister club Manningham United Blues FC since 2011. Nick has been on the Manningham board since 2018 and president since 2022. He has a deep love for East Kew FC, as many of his family have played here, and is looking forward to applying his skills/knowledge learned at Manningham to East Kew.

Vince Montuoro
Committee 2024 –

Vince is a die-hard football fanatic. Having played football and futsal for most of his life, after his children grew of age (i.e as soon as they could kick a ball) he then moved to Manningham United FC and heavily became involved in the club. Beginning with Coaching, moving on to becoming the Miniroo Technical Director and then on to the Committee, and now Vice President of MUBFC. Vince has a keen interest involved not only at the NPL level, but in seeing the benefits of a State level football team ensure a pathway is established for all footballers keen to keep playing at a top level of senior football which is the reason he has become involved at East Kew FC.

EAST KEW FC SENIOR COACHES

Ahmad Chazbek

Senior Co-Coach 2024 –

Ahmed played Football as a Junior for Victoria, which then he went on to play his Senior Football at Peninsula, which he played up until he was 42. Ahmed has coached for the last 17 years, coaching Juniors of all ages, NPL Under 16’s, Under 18’s and Under 20’s. He has been a Senior coach for 6 years including coaching Women as well. Ahmed’s occupation involves being a Physical Education teacher which he has been doing for 23 years now.

Chris Koutsiafaras

Senior Co-Coach 2024 –

Chris played football as a Junior representing Victoria, as well as being involved in the NSL Youth system for Heidelberg United and South Melbourne. He then went on to play his Senior football at Northern Falcons and Reservoir United. Chris has a wealth of experience in coaching, being involved with numerous teams over the last 24 years. He has been involved with Ringwood City where he has won multiple championships, as well as being the Club Football Director. He has also won championships with Manningham United junior sides, as well as taking charge of the inaugural Macedon United’s Senior side.

Jack Androulidakis

Reserves Coach 2024 –

Jack’s been involved in football for nearly 40 years starting out as a Junior at Brunswick Juventus and moving through the ranks eventually making his senior debut with Juve first at Premier League level and then in the old NSL. He represented Victoria and was also part of the inaugural soccer program at the Vic Institute of Sport. He then went on to play for Green Gully and Werribee City seniors before finishing up at Clifton Hill United. His involvement in football continued as a junior coach and is now looking forward to being part of EKFC coaching our reserve team and assisting the club in any way on its quest for promotion to higher leagues.

Sandro Bastasin

Under 20’s Coach 2024 –

We are excited to announce Sandro Bastasin (Bazz) as our Under 20’s Coach for the 2024 season. ‘Bazz’ as he is known, has been coaching for 12 years and is a very dedicated, motivated, and passionate coach who prides himself on teaching and developing players.

Con Papacostas
Junior Technical Director / Coach 
Con is a longterm member of the Junior Coaches team. Bringing his vision to the East Kew FC junior programs supporting all Junior coaches in producing skilled and knowledge players for the future and building on the clubs future pathways.

Mark Young

U’15 Boys-
Mark played Soccer until his mid 20’s at regional level. He returned to soccer as coach in 2013 when his son began playing with East Kew Panthers. Mark has coached a team to a league premiership at East Kew JFC and also took that team to the FFV State finals where the team was runner up in 2018. He is currently head coach and coordinator of the 13’s boys program.

Nick Mones
U’10 Avengers Team
I grew up in Greece and lived in Piraeus supporting Olympiakos as a kid. Many years later and without any intent my son Zaine joined the East Kew FC as an under 7. I’ve been coaching the boys for the last 4 years having myself played in the junior ranks for Caulfield United. I am a mad supported of Manchester United having lived in Manchester for 4 years. I work in the food manufacturing space in General Management capacity and coaching the boys gives me valuable time with my kids in a very busy work schedule. Some of the boys have played together for the last 4 years and it’s always great to see them how they develop their skills and teamwork and embrace new players as they join our team.

Peter Clements
Junior Coach 2016 –
Peter joined East Kew FC as an Under 8’s junior coach and has continued to be involved in the junior program. He has expanded his involvement in the club to include playing for our Senior team and this year he has joined the East Kew FC Committee. Peter’s strong track record of delivering results, building teams, and leading transformational change programs as an Executive in the telecommunications sector will assist East Kew FC achieve its future success. Peter is passionate about the future direction and culture of the Club and is keen to ensure we create a supportive and safe environment in which our players thrive, have fun, and build their love of the great game (…and East Kew FC).
