2021 – 11th Men’s State League 5 East (Cancelled)

2020 and 2021 seasons were both affected by Covid-19, with 2020 season postponed to 2021, and the 2021 season being cancelled 14 rounds in, which saw us sit bottom of the table after 12 games played sitting on only 10 points. However a positive from the season was the club reaching Round 3 of what is now known as the Australia Cup, being one of only 4 State League 5 sides reaching that phase.

2022 – 5th Men’s State League 5 East

In 2022 the club took a massive turn as many new faces came to the club and we finished in 5th place with 32 points. This season has many records, including the club’s biggest-ever margin win, defeating Lilydale Montrose 10-2 on an Autumn Friday night at Keith Hume Fraser Reserve. A mention to Daniel Failla who made a club record 14 Goals during the season, as well as winning the League Best & Fairest award.

2023 – 5th Men’s State League 5 East

In 2023 the club saw another haul of new players come in in what looked like a very young and exciting team to watch as pre-season saw the club enter the Hellenic Cup hosted by Mill Park. East Kew reached the Semi-Finals after defeating State 2 side Atona East in the Group State, and State 4 side West Preston in the Quarter Final. The Semi-Final against Mill Park saw East Kew lose a 2-1 halftime lead to finish the game going down 4-3 to the eventual runners-up. The Australia Cup run was cut short after two games to State 3 side Ashburton who defeated us 3-1 at Monash University Playing Fields. In the league, the team had a very up-and-down season with a lot of player absentees during the season causing many inconsistent results. Despite this, it was the club’s record points achieved in a single season, as well as the highest wins in a season.

Played: 22 | Wins: 11 | Draws: 1 | Losses 10 | Goals For: 46 | Goals Against 43 | Goal Difference 3 | Points: 34

2024 – 2nd Men’s State League 5 East (Current so far)

2024 saw the arrival of two new first-team coaches, Ahmad Chazbeck and Chris Koutsiafaras both join the club to improve on last season’s results. The Club reached the 3rd round of the Australia Cup for the second time in history after two comfortable wins, one coming against Seaford ending in a record Cup victory of 8-1, however on a very hot summer day we took a long away trip down southwest to face State 2 side Geelong Rangers we defeated us 2-0.

Played: 11 | Wins: 8 | Draws: 3 | Losses 0 | Goals For: 28 | Goals Against 11 | Goal Difference 17 | Points: 27
