Welcome to the East Kew Junior FC

At East Kew FC, our mission is to create the best junior football (soccer) experience for players, families, and teams.

We are a community based club, with a program committed to providing junior players with the opportunity to develop skills in a team based environment. 

We aim to inspire each player to understand what it means to be a part of a team and have a lifelong enjoyment of the game. 

The football (soccer season) runs from the end of April through to early September. We are a Football  Victoria (FV) Club, and our matches are played on Sundays around the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Miniroos Boys & Girls

Our Miniroos program runs from Under 7 up to Under 11. In this program, the teams are graded in 3 different levels, Kangaroos (A), Wallabies (B), and Joeys (C). Under 7s play on 1/8 of a Soccer pitch at 4-a-side. Under 8 & U9 play on 1/4 of a soccer pitch, playing 7-a-side. U10 & U11 play on 1/2 of a soccer pitch, playing with 9-a-side.

Our boys program has been strong since East Kew Juniors were established in 2008, and it continues to grow year on year. On the other hand, our girls program is getting started, and we have started to progress with teams and more interest in Junior girls, to complement the success of our Senior Women’s team.

Junior Boys & Girls

Our Junior program runs from Under 12 up to Under 18. In this program, the teams are graded from an A division all the way down to a D division. Under 12’s and Under 13’s both play on 1/2 of a pitch, with 9 players a side, while our Under 14’s to Under 18’s play on a full size pitch at 11 a side.

Our Junior Boys program is growing strong each year, as our influx of Miniroos 5 years ago has all stayed on and are going into the older ages of their footballing journeys. We are also really keen to get our Junior Girls program going! We are looking to grow the program on the back of the success that our Senior Women’s team is having, and encourage more girls to come down and play their football ate East Kew FC!
